FAQs

Question

How do I get to the wedding?

Answer

From the Venue: “Map Quest and other wayfinding software sometimes provides an alternate route that does not connect with Camp Nauvoo. As you are coming into Placerville take the Bedford Exit. Turn left onto Main Street. You will come to a fork in the road and then go right onto Cedar Ravine. You will drive 3.1 miles and after you pass a one lane bridge you will turn left onto Camp Nauvoo Road. Camp Nauvoo is a one lane road with turnouts. You will follow the road 1.3 miles till the end where you will enter Camp Nauvoo.” From Zack and Reilly: We have found Apple Maps works well when navigating to the venue. Be on the lookout for wedding signs posted at Camp Nauvoo Road to guide you to the wedding.

Question

What is the parking situation?

Answer

Our venue accommodates up to 50 vehicles. With 90 guests attending, we should have sufficient parking available. That said, we'd greatly appreciate it if you're able to carpool. This will ensure everyone has a parking spot.

Question

How early can I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no earlier than 2:30 pm. The ceremony will begin at 3:30 pm.

Question

What is for dinner?

Answer

We will be having mexican food from Compadres in Galt. Chicken, carne asada, carnitas, refried beans, rice, veggies, quesadillas, corn and flour tortillas will be available. If you RSVP’d with allergy/dietary preferences, accommodations are being made for you.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Our wedding dress code is cocktail/garden party. Opt for spring-inspired or floral dresses or colorful ties with suits or dress slacks. Since our celebration takes place outdoors on grass, we recommend wearing comfortable shoes. Keep in mind that April in Placerville can be cool, particularly in the evening. While we'll have heaters to keep you comfortable, we suggest bringing a light jacket or pants.
