FAQs

Question

How do I report our RSVP to the Medical Examiner?

Answer

Our little forms for the RSVP are heavily themed. Our invitations are made out to who is invited, plus any children related to those parties. Technically +1's are not included in our headcount and we have a maximum of 50 people. Strictly speaking, please keep the attendees to those addressed on the invitation. Write in the number of adults and number of children attending on the RSVP and return to us. If you want to bring someone outside of the addressees on the invitation, please write their name and relation in the notes field while including them as an additional headcount on the RSVP. Any additional guests we can admit will be on a first come, first serve basis for RSVPs. You also do not have to guess! Just text one of us to ask if it's alright to bring an unaddressed party to the wedding and we will let you know before sending your physical RSVP back to us.

Question

What time is the wedding?

Answer

Ceremony around 3p. Reception follows immediately after until about 8p.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever you like! We do not want to enforce a dress code. Please wear what you want: casual, comfy, classy, cosplay, anything!

Question

Is this a theme wedding?

Answer

Yes and no. It is a vibe wedding. The vibes are Camp Crystal Lake inspired from the Friday the 13th movie series. No one will be in costume, and it is not explicitly horror themed, but there will be spooky and horror-inspired vibes.

Question

What am I eating and when? (Gasp, and with whomstve)

Answer

Tacos and donuts. Whenever you want! We are not engaging in a traditional structured wedding reception. The food is meant to be enjoyed whenever you want to and with whomever you'd like. No assigned seating!

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

No, there is no alcohol. There will be a variety of beverages, just none of them will be alcoholic.

Question

Can we buy you a gift?

Answer

No! Please donate to a charity that supports equitable causes like Doctors without Borders, mutual aid funds, legal funds for protestors, LGBTQIA+ charities (especially for trans folks who are being targeted right now).
