This is the go-to chill bar spot for Reilly and Robby. Many fun nights with friends began here. There is a wide selection of alcohol, a mezzanine area, and even outside roof deck. If you're lucky, they may have $2 PBRs...
Armadillo Grill
This is the spot of Reilly and Robby's first "official" first date. It is a casual and quick Mexican restaurant that is good for lunch, dinner, or even a (real) late night on Glenwood. Get your hands on some customized Tex-Mex tacos, and don't forget the chips and queso!
Village Draft House
A ton of choices for beer? Great burgers? TVs lined-up with sports? Yep, you can see why Reilly and Robby, as well as their friends, spent a lot of time coming to this one.
Guasaca Arepa & Salsa Grill
Whenever Reilly and Robby come back to Raleigh, this is a place that must make the itinerary for lunch. This place is the Venezuelan version of Chipotle. Get one of their made-to-order arepas (think of a Venezuelan taco/burrito) or just get a bowl loaded with everything. Don't forget an order of guasaca and chips!
Char Grill
This is a (close to) always open place for customized charbroiled burgers with fries--and on special occasions (so basically all occasions): a milkshake! This place is built for guilty (and greasy and fatty) pleasures. Perfect for a late night.
Talley Market
It is IMPOSSIBLE to walk through NC State's campus without getting a taste of the school's-own Howling Cow ice cream. Reilly and Robby's favorite flavor is the "Wolftracks". Pro-tip: instead of getting a scoop (or 5) of ice cream, get a milkshake of your favorite flavor.
Beasley's Chicken + Honey
Fried chicken and waffles, with beer. A great Southern restaurant in the heart of DT Raleigh. This restaurant is owned by James Beard Award winning chef, Ashley Christensen.
Fox Liquor Bar
A dark/mysterious location with a relaxed lounge vibe for amazing cocktails. Yeah, the drinks are going to run you some $$$, but you'll love the taste and the feeling you have after 1... This is another product of Ashley Christensen.
Sitti
A fantastic Lebanese restaurant with flairs of Mediterranean. This is a perfect place for sharing a variety of kebob, shwarma, and salad plates and a good alternative to "heavier" food options.
Raleigh Beer Garden
The name explains everything this place has to offer: beer. Each level of this very large spot on Glenwood South is dedicated to a certain map area and has an INSANE amount of beer pours. Don't go here for a Coors Light, go here for a Double IPA from Idaho made with sustainable resources within the USA (#oddlyspecific).
Flying Biscuit Café
Breakfast! This is all of your standard breakfast fare, but with awesome taste. Obviously, they are known for their biscuits, but what is really good is their apple cinnamon butter.
Poole's
This is THE restaurant that made Ashley Christensen a James Beard Award winning chef. What else needs to be said?
42nd Street Oyster Bar
A large seafood restaurant with an even larger variety of seafood options. This is the restaurant where Robby convinced Reilly, "hey, seafood isn't that bad, is it?"
Clyde Cooper's Barbeque
This is the best chopped barbecue in downtown Raleigh and a great spot to go to for lunch.
Boxcar Bar + Arcade
Raleigh's version of a Barcade. It wasn't around when Reilly and Robby were living in Raleigh, and that is probably a good thing.
The Pit Authentic Barbecue
Although not Reilly and Robby's favorite (they give this place a lot of *eye roll*), many people swear by this restaurant as some of the best BBQ. Fine, we will submit--the puller pork barbecue and the mac and cheese are pretty good...
Capital Club 16
A slightly upscale place that is perfect for brunch!

A quaint spot by NC State with some "healthier" options.

This is the best Asian variety food you are going to find in the downtown Raleigh vicinity.
