In 2020, we both moved to Cleveland, Ohio to begin our careers—Mike in finance and me in nursing. Not long after settling in, we found ourselves at the same bar, caught each other's eyes, and exchanged numbers. We went on our first date that week, and the rest is history! After a year in Cleveland, we decided it was time to return to the East Coast. We moved to New York City and spent two years doing "long-distance", Mike in the West Village and me on the Upper East Side. Eventually, we officially closed the distance and made a home together on the Upper East Side, where we’ve been ever since. Over the last five years, we’ve shared so many special moments: meeting and growing closer to each other’s families and friends, celebrating holidays together, running a marathon side by side, building a home together, and traveling near and far. Most recently, on a trip to Northern California, Mike proposed in Carmel-by-the-Sea, overlooking the sunset on Carmel Beach. It was perfect. We are so excited to start this next chapter of our lives and can’t wait to celebrate with you all!
