My (almost) Irish twin who couldn't be more different than me. Dani always brings the jokes to balance out my intensity and is a constant source of laughter. Growing up, about the only thing that Dani and I had in common was Foundation Academy basketball- but boy were those years some of the best years of my life. Few feelings compare to playing on a team with your sister, knowing she's always got your back. As we've entered adulthood, Dani has brought a much needed peace and calm to my crazy life. Dani's always had my back in life outside of just basketball and I am so thankful to have her stand by my side as I marry Lukas.
Joe Walker
Best Man
Joey has been my best friend for as long as I can remember. We literally grew up at each other's houses and throughout high school did everything together from running cross country to driving to school and going to the beach. When college came, he went to FSU and I went to UF the following year. Despite us going to rival schools, we still managed to stay close and each time we saw each other we just picked up right where we left off. I am so happy to have him as a best man.
Sarah King

Lukas - Sarah is my older sister. Growing up Sarah always gave me a hard time for trying to skate out of family activities, but as I got older I began to appreciate the way she prioritizes spending time with family and I'm grateful to have Sarah by my side as we add Reilly to the family. Reilly - I am so excited to have Sarah as my soon to be sister-in-law. When I first met Sarah in 2017 Lukas told me quite a bit about her. Over the years, I've realized she is much more fun than he first described. One of my favorite memories with Sarah is scream/singing Mama Mia karaoke at the top of our lungs in front of their whole family-grandparents included. Sarah brings fun and adventure to our life and it's a blessing to be gaining her as a sister.
Brady Lord

Reilly - Brady is my younger (and only) brother. Growing up, Brady was the only one in the house who could keep up with my energy. From working out to making impulsive decisions, Brady has always been someone who keeps up with me and gets me. As the years passed and Brady's gotten older (19!!!!!) , I've tried to ease out the older sister/mom role and into the older sister/friend role. I've realized Brady isn't just an annoying little brother but is actually really cool. I'm so thankful to have Brady by our side as Lukas and I begin this new chapter. Lukas - When Reilly and I first started dating Brady was 12 and since then I've gotten to watch him grow into the person he is today. Brady is always fun and messing around and I'm excited to have him next to me and gain him as a brother.
Taylor Griffin

Taylor is a friend everyone needs. She is a great listener and is dedicated to supporting her people. She keeps me sane in grad school and helps me stay on track. One of my favorite memories is dancing with her at Backyard. She's a blast to be around yet at the same time has this calm, cool, collected presence that I need in my life. Taylor is always there to encourage me, instill confidence in me, and problem solve with me. I am so excited to have Taylor as a bridesmaid and can't wait to dance the night away with her.
Arie Shteif

Arie and I met in early high school and he was the latest addition to our high school group of friends. He was initially introduced to the group because Joey, Liam, Austin and I needed a fifth person to play on our League of Legends team. From that point on we noticed we were in many classes together and he became an integral part of our friend group. After high school, Arie also went to UF along with Liam, Austin, and me and was the coxswain on the rowing team. Arie was my roommate when we lived in the dorms and when we lived in an apartment with Austin and Liam. He has always been a great friend and I am so excited to have him as a groomsman.
Riley Marshall

Riley and I met in Phi Mu but didn't instantly become friends, as she thought I didn't like her when I kept forgetting her name. Eventually, Riley learned just how bad my memory was and graced me with the gift of her friendship. Riley gives the BEST hugs, and is a consistent, supportive friend who brings humor and peace to my too serious and crazy-hectic self. Although we never lived together we've spent countless nights laughing till we cried on the floor of Phi Mu. Riley hypes me up like no one else can and loves me so well and it is for those reasons that I am grateful to have her stand by my side as I marry Lukas.
Liam Sargent

My friendship with Liam had a rocky start with me "borrowing a pencil" from him and never giving it back. Despite this Liam and I quickly became very good friends in middle school and I then discovered that he was actually my neighbor. From that point on we became very close and it got to the point where I would stop at his house on the way to the bus stop so we could play Black Ops Zombies for thirty minutes. This may have caused us to sprint after the bus so we didn't get left behind on more than one occasion. Liam and I continued to be close throughout high school and college where he was my teammate on the rowing team and my roommate. I am super excited to have him with me as I marry Reilly.
Martha Pointer

Martha brings out the wild in me. We barely knew each other when we agreed to live together in Phi Mu my junior year and quickly realized just how much we have in common. Martha is someone who matches my high-energy and communication style, and is always down to make impulsive, adventurous choices with me :). Although I only got to know Martha well my junior year of college, we quickly became best friends and our friendship has lasted through the post college move and over the distance. I am so grateful to have Martha by my side to rid me of my stress/seriousness and keep life fun as Lukas and I prepare for marriage.
Austin Xie

I met Austin in the third grade when he first moved here from New York and we quickly became friends. From that point on Austin remained one of my best friends and we were often in the same classes together. While we were in elementary school Austin's parents owned a restaurant so I would convince my Grandpa to take me there so we could hang out and go next door to the Pet Supermarket to annoy the parakeets. Austin has been my classmate, teammate, and roommate and I am so excited to add groomsman to his list of titles.
Ally Prohaska

Some friends bring high energy and adventure to my life while other bring peace and stillness to my life; Ally brings both. Aside from my guy Lukas, Ally brings the silly and fun out of this usually all work no play girl, like no one else can. Although Ally and I have been friends since freshman year, living together in Phi Mu senior year grew not only our friendship and but us individually. I went from barely ever making my bed (Martha, Erin and Dani can testify) to making my bed EVERY DAY and feeling a sense of peace when I do. Although our differences may be many, as Ally is organized, calm, and gentle, Ally's strong spirit and allegiance to her truth has taught me so much about loving myself and others well. I am so grateful to have her by my side as Lukas and I commit to forever.
Justin Rhodes

Justin was the first friend that I made post-graduation. He was my coworker while working at Pike where he started out sitting next to me. We quickly became friends and eventually became neighbors for a little while. On our remote work days, we would often have "watch parties" together for safety meetings. He has been there for me through good and bad times and has quickly become one of my best friends and I am so happy to be able to have him as one of my groomsmen.
Erin Stepchuk

Erin is another adventure lovin' best friend of mine who helps keeps me present and live in the moment (do you see a trend here?). Erin and I met in August of our freshman year on the crew team where we bonded over our semi-student-athlete/srat life. Very soon after that we became inseparable. Erin is in almost all of my best college memories; every game day, early morning crew practice, every woodser, every bow ball, every post practice breakfast, every regatta, and has walked by my side as Lukas and I grew together over the years, from awkward freshmen who didn't know how to start being a couple around our teammates, to now as we prepare for marriage. Erin was the college sister I didn't know I needed and I am so so grateful to have Erin stand by my side on my wedding day.
Mia Varner

Mia and I first met in grad school via zoom. It's hard to truly get to know someone on a screen but from the start I saw that Mia matched my high energy. She is passionate. She stands up for what she believes in and advocates for others. Mia exudes JOY and is a blast to be around. She is full of grace. Despite the long-distance (California-Florida) our friendship has remained strong. I am so grateful have grown alongside Mia these past couple years and so excited to have her as a bridesmaid.

Emily and I met in grad school and boy am I so grateful she came to UF. Emily is wise and kind hearted. She knows private christian school life all too well and we bonded over being staff kids and growing up in tight knit communities. Emily has an energy to her that brings peace to my heart and mind. Like Lukas, Emily is very different from me. Our strengths compliment each others' weaknesses. It is a beautiful dichotomy. I am so excited to have Emily as a bridesmaid and get to celebrate with her by my side.
Tatianna Zambrano

I first met Tatianna via zoom when grad school started online due to COVID. Next thing I know, before I even met her in person, she offered to come down to Orlando from Gainesville to visit. This is a testament to her kind and generous nature. Tatianna brings people together. Tatianna is a friend who brings joy and fun to my life, yet at the same time her presence brings peace. I can always count on her to crack a joke, make me laugh, and lighten the mood. She is always down for adventures- whether it's traveling or singing karaoke (specifically Cocaine Blues by Johnny Cash). Tatianna is loyal to her people and goes above and beyond to support others. I am so excited to have Tatianna as a bridesmaid and get to celebrate with her.
