FAQs

Question

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend arriving 20–30 minutes before the ceremony to make sure everyone is seated and ready when we begin.

Question

What is the dresscode?

Answer

Our dress code is semi-formal. Since it’s a summer wedding, feel free to choose light, comfortable outfits that make you feel your best. Think dresses, dress shirts, slacks, or suits! Whatever feels polished but still lets you enjoy the day. We want everyone to look nice and feel completely comfortable!

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We kindly ask that only guests listed on your invitation attend, as we are keeping our celebration intimate.

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping the wedding mostly adults-only so everyone can relax and enjoy the celebration. The only children attending will be our ring bearers and flower girls. We hope this gives parents a chance to kick back, have fun, and enjoy the night with us!

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Idyllwild is usually warm during the day and cooler in the evenings. We recommend bringing a layer just in case!

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve listed several nearby hotel options on our Travel page to make planning easier!

Question

Will the Ceremony & Reception be outdoors?

Answer

Yes! Our ceremony and reception will be held outdoors on the venue’s lawn, surrounded by beautiful scenery. Since we’ll be on grass, we recommend choosing shoes that are comfortable and easy to walk in! For the ladies, this may be block heels, wedges, flats, or anything you won’t mind wearing on softer ground!

Question

Answer

Parking will be available at: 26184 Banning-Idyllwild Panoramic Highway Idyllwild-Pine Cove, CA 92544 We’ll have a shuttle running to bring guests to and from the wedding site. Just park in the designated area, and the shuttle will take care of the rest. We’ll have signs and helpers to guide you when you arrive, so everything should be easy and stress-free!

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We’re happy to have an unplugged-optional ceremony. Feel free to take photos and videos, just please be mindful of our officiant and photographer so everyone can enjoy the moment!
