The average temperature in August ranges from a high of 84°F and a low of 62°F. Some would describe it as pleasantly warm, humid but cool. For our 5 p.m. outdoor ceremony, we will have bottled waters readily available.
We have worked with the caterer to provide gluten-free and vegetarian appetizers and menu options. Please RSVP including any special dietary options you may have.
While we love your little ones, our wedding is going to be an adults-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us. Similarly, we’ve included a plus one for you in our guest count if your invitation is addressed accordingly. Please reach out to let us know if you were expecting a plus one or expecting to bring your children and this is not included on your invitation. Please ensure you have RSVP'd for your entire party so we can be sure we have the right numbers! Thank you!
We are requesting an unplugged ceremony, and ask you to turn off your phones and put your cameras away. We’ve hired amazing professional photographers and videographers, and we want them to capture all the big moments. We’ll be happy to share photos of the ceremony later!
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail attire.
Yes, there is plenty of parking at the venue. The ceremony and reception will be held at The Mill at Rock Creek. The cocktail hour will be held outside on the patio with refreshments and appetizers, and the reception will immediately follow, which will be held indoors.
We will provide a shuttle service to and from The Mill for the hotel recommendations we have provided. Shuttle service will be offered starting at 4 p.m. and continue until the end of reception.
