Anthony and I met back in 2022 at one of our friend Lyndsey’s legendary Halloween parties in DC, but really ended up hitting it off at Ragtime, a WVU sports bar, the following day. We spent most of the day just getting to know another. I remember talking to Court, my best friend and roommate at the time, about how much I liked him on our drive back to Pittsburgh. However, I was hesitant to pursue anything with someone that lived 4 hours away, so we didn’t really end up talking much until we went back to DC a few months later to celebrate Court’s birthday. Once again, we ended up spending most of that weekend chatting and making plans for him to come visit me in a few weeks for what ended up being our first date. He asked me to be his girlfriend during that first trip, and we did long distance for the first year and half of our relationship before Anthony moved to Pittsburgh and we moved in together. We’ve since bought a house together and can’t wait to take this next step together!
