When we say black-tie optional, we mean optional! Please don't feel the need to go out and buy something unless you want to, close enough is close enough. We suggest maxi and cocktail length dresses, jumpsuits, suits, and tuxes. We want everyone to feel their best!
Weather permitting, the ceremony will be outdoors, and cocktail hour will have both indoor and outdoor areas. The reception will be indoors. Everything is happening at the same venue!
Unfortunately due to venue constraints children under the age of 10 are not invited to the ceremony or reception. We understand this may pose a challenge to some parents, and apologize for any inconvenience.
Shuttles will be provided to and from the venue from designated location(s). The finalized plan will be updated here when available. There is plenty of free parking at the venue, though for guests intending to drink we encourage you to use the provided complementary shuttles or utilize Uber, Lyft, taxis, etc.
We recommend that our guests stay in Annapolis, Maryland. It is not only a cute, historic city with great restaurants, but it will be easy to use ride-share options and the designated location for at least one shuttle to and from the venue. The exact shuttle location(s) is TBD, but at least one will be in Annapolis. Although we have provided some suggested hotels on the website under "Travel," there are many other hotels, AirBnBs, and VRBOs that are all great options for differing tastes and budgets. We encourage guests to choose the option that is best for them. Due to the wide variety of lodging types and locations in the area, we do not have any designated room blocks.
