If you have any other questions other than what are listed here, please reach out to Reileigh or Dexter directly. However, if it is already on the website, they will kindly direct you to the correct page!
Question

What is the Dress Code?

Answer

"Out-Do the Bride & Groom" & make it wildflower chic What does this mean? We want our guests and photos to look like a wildflower field with cool, fancy outfits! So give it your best Met Gala, wear a sheer shirt, that dress that you think is too wild to wear, a tie with a fun design, but please do not wear jeans (or other clothes that do not look fun & fancy) :) The only colors you are BANNED from wearing are white/white adjacent (ivory, cream, etc.) & red/red adjacent (burgundy, maroon. etc.) [white and red accents are totally okay]. If you have any questions or want a yes/no on a color or outfit just text Reileigh!

Question

Can I bring a plus 1 or family member not listed on my invitation?

Answer

Our venue has a limited capacity, so we are only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation. If someone listed is unable to come, unfortunately no swaps. If you’re unsure text Reileigh & Dexter!

Question

What will you do if it rains the day of the wedding?

Answer

Honestly, probably panic a bit, but then proceed with our backup plan, which will include moving all events indoors. If there is a light drizzle, we may still do the ceremony and/or dancing outside. An umbrella is always a great thing to have in your car!

Question

Will y'all be taking the same last name?

Answer

Short answer, no. We will keep our own last names and socially have two last names, but we do not feel the need to legally change them at this time. As you enter the ceremony you will be placing your vote for the order of our last names. The winner will be announced as we are pronounced husband and wife. If you plan to get a personalized item, please put both last names in the order of your choosing. Do you prefer “Lipps Turro” or “Turro Lipps”?

Question

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! It will have alcoholic & NA options. So, please tip the staff as they are going to be working to ensure we have an epic night. (However, no shots are allowed & we expect everyone to be respectful of the venue grounds.)

Question

Why do you have your Venmo on your registry?

Answer

Zola (& all wedding websites) add a fee for gifting money through their platform. We wanted to give the option to gift $ to us without any associated fees. However, there is a Zola-based money "fund" and all the specific funds in our registry are also through Zola. If you are wanting to contribute to a certain fund via Venmo instead please text us prior to the wedding and we can change the fund.

Question

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are hiring an amazing photographer. She will be capturing every moment necessary. So please unplug and enjoy the moment. If you take your phone out during the ceremony, our officiant will publicly call you out and ask you to put it away! However, we encourage you to take pictures before and after/throughout the night. We will have a link/app for you to upload them to and share with us!

Question

Who should I text the day before or day of the wedding if I have questions?

Answer

Please do not text Reileigh or Dexter. They will be fully immersed in the moment and not on their phones. If you are staying on the campground and have specific questions regarding this please text: 815-240-9240. For all other questions/comments/concerns reach out to anyone in the wedding party or their Moms. Please try to get all your questions answered before the day of so everyone can stay in the moment!

Question

What about a wedding shower?

Answer

Since our venue has limited space, we will be having a wedding shower after the wedding to celebrate with even more loved ones. Be on the lookout for an invite, likely in July!
