HIKE- Chocolate Gulch Trailhead

HIKE- Adam's Gulch trailhead
Adams Gulch Area Trails is a 6.1 mile loop trail located near Ketchum, Idaho and is rated as moderate. The trail is primarily used for running and mountain biking and is best used from May until October. HIKE- Proctor Mount Loop Trail
Park at the end of Fairway Road This hike is close to town, 2 hours or less, fairly moderate. Proctor Mountain Trail is a 3.5 mile heavily trafficked loop trail located near Sun Valley, Idaho that features beautiful wild flowers and is rated as moderate.
DAY TRIP - Redfish Lake Lodge
This is a 50 minute drive from town in Stanley, great day trip/all day event if you have an extra day. You can horseback ride, kayak, paddleboard and hike from here. Most of the hikes require that you take a boat shuttle to the other side of the lake.
HIKE- Mt. Baldy Hike
Visit Sun Valley Ski Resort and hike Baldy (at the base of the River Run Lodge)! If you make it to Roundhouse, stop in for lunch and great views.

Lots of great stores in downtown Ketchum, all walkable. Start at Silver Creek outfitters! Consign Design is the most amazing consignment store. Truly amazing, like new designer finds!

HIKE- Shadyside Hike (very easy)
Very flat, easy hike within the Adams Gulch trail system.
Horseback riding
One hour trail ride for beginners, starts at the stables in Sun Valley lodge Sun Valley’s legendary Western heritage is no better experienced than with a visit to the fabled Sun Valley Stables and Western Horseman’s Center. Trail rides and wagon experiences are fun for the entire family, from the beginner to experienced rider. Private and group events are available. Sun Valley Stables also provides western horsemanship lessons and training programs for children and adults from beginner to intermediate-level riders. Age and size minimums apply.
