Their story began in 2017 in Brisbane, Australia, when fate brought them together at a Team USA track meet. At the time, they couldn’t have known that a simple friendship would be the first chapter of a love story years in the making. For six years, they stayed friends- cheering one another on through life’s highs and lows. Then on March 3rd, 2023, they officially started dating, and from that moment on, they knew they found something rare and beautiful. The road wasn’t easy at first. Xander was in Carlsbad, New Mexico and Reigan was in Fort Worth, Texas. A six-hour drive and a time difference stood between them, but distance only proved how strong their connection was. Every long drive, late night call, and every weekend together made their love grow even stronger. In May 2024, Reigan moved to Carlsbad and just a few months later, in September, they bought their first home together- a place to build their future. Along this journey, Reigan was also blessed with one of the greatest gifts: Xander’s daughter Frankie. Becoming a part of her life and stepping into the role of a bonus mom has been the most treasured parts of their story. Then on July 24, 2025, the day before Reigan’s birthday, Xander asked the easiest question she’s ever had to answer: “Will you marry me?” Now surrounded by love, family, and the little girl who makes their world brighter, they can’t wait to begin their forever together- and celebrate it with all of you on their wedding day!
