Our story begins on the lovely dating app of Hinge. We matched and began texting for a few weeks. We had our first date at Dublin Village Tavern, we spent the evening laughing non stop. I asked Lauren to be my girlfriend on our third date, I knew she was the one then. Lauren, however turned me down. After about a month of going on dates and getting to know each other better, SHE asked ME to be her boyfriend. So let it be known, she was the one who asked me! The next task was getting our dogs to become friends, some days we still have a challenge with that. We had a couple of adventures to Seattle, Kentucky and Spokane. We found out that we really enjoyed traveling together. We spent time getting to know each others families and friends. We moved in together and integrated a fur children together. Zoe obviously the head of the household, Boomer falls in line most of the time. For the next year; we continued to learn about each other, have adventures, play cards and laugh together. On September 9th, we had a nice evening playing cards at our favorite local bar in Hilliard. We went home and I made dinner for Lauren, after dinner she was switching laundry over and when she came out of the laundry room. I was there waiting on one knee, I thought words came out of my mouth but they apparently didn't. She asked me "do you have a question?". That ladies and gentleman is how I asked her to marry me, very smooth I know. We then began wedding planning, selling our home in Ohio and planning a cross country move. Not stressful at all. We moved to Spokane, Washington in December of 2025 and have been enjoying hiking and exploring with the dogs since then!
