What made you choose El Buen Pastor?

Answer

El Buen Pastor (formerly know as South Hills Baptist Church) is where Bo's grandfather Walter Reid pastored for 39 years. This is the church where Walter officiated the wedding for Bo's parents (Jeff & Barbara Reid). Now Jeff (aka Ace) will get to officiate our wedding here.

Why Fort Worth?

Answer

Pecos is Amanda's hometown, Abilene is Bo's hometown. DFW is our current/future hometown where we plan to continue to build our lives together. Why not take our next big step here? Especially with such a perfect and meaningful ceremony location.

Why is everyone's middle name Baron??

Answer

Baron as a middle name has been a tradition in the Reid family for 3 generations now. Walter Reid (an all around athlete in his younger years) had one coach that strongly influenced him in his youth. When Walter married Dot and their 1st son was born, Baron as a middle name was the best way they could pay tribute to the coach. A couple years later their 2nd son was born and was given the same middle name. There are currently a total of 8 that carry Baron on their legal birth certificate, but over the years there are many who have become as close as family and have been gifted the name. "Baron" has become synonymous for us to family.
