Julietta winery is in Clarksburg. It is roughly 15 to 20 minutes south from downtown Sacramento in wine country.
Lyft and Uber would be the best options. You are more than welcome to Rent-A-Car, however please be responsible with your celebrating.
If you’re wanting to be near all the action of downtown Sacramento, I would stay in downtown or Midtown. If you want to be closer to the winery, I would suggest Elk Grove.
Unfortunately, we are getting married during graduation season. Sacramento has a lot of universities and high schools. I would get my hotel sooner rather than later.
We prefer Booking.com, Orbitz.com, and hotels.com. They are CHEAPER than the hotel codes we received (hotels were stingy). The sites listed above have the “book now, pay later” option. You wouldn’t pay until you got to Sacramento and checked into the hotel.
$18-25 depending on the time. Peak times after work will most likely cost more. You can split the date with multiple individuals.
For some reason this is confusing people. A lot of you know our intentions are to have a 12 person—very small and intimate civil ceremony on April 29 at San Francisco City Hall. Saturday, May 2, is when we will do our traditional wedding activities that we couldn’t do at City Hall. Hope this clears up any confusion.
