We’re getting married!

Our story began way back in the spring of 2014 while living in separate states. We were introduced through a mutual friend upon Reid’s regular visits to Wisconsin. Instantly, the connection was made and we hit it off with our similar interests. Our friendship continued on strong. After a few short months, we realized we’d be better suited as a couple rather than just friends. We moved into our first place together in Middleton, WI in December 2014. It was a cute and cozy apartment we rented for three years. While it was tiny, it was perfect for just us. There we began our careers, explored our passions for cooking, hiking, and continued to grow our love. After our time in Middleton, we found a downtown place in Madison, WI, where we could be more centralized for our professions. We spent four wonderful years there enjoying the bustling isthmus and its splendors. While we were doing more biking than hiking those days, our careers advanced and our love for each other continued to grow. November 29th, 2019 the big question was at long last asked! The “yes,” was immediate, and the deal was sealed. Of course, only a few months later the world came to a halt, delaying our big day for the time being. Thankfully, we were in no rush. Our careers continued through the pandemic, where for many parts of it we were all that we had for company. We kept our house full of laughter, full of good cooking, and filled with plenty of festivities between just the two of us. In April of 2021, we made many trips back and forth every weekend to haul our life up to the river city, and finally settled into our cute little home in Holmen, where we currently reside. From here we began to enjoy living nearer to nature, the peaceful calm by the bluffs, and just focusing on us. It was with this time that we put in motion the big day set for this July, and we are excited to finally announce and invite you to witness the continuation of our love!
