We are asking that you come dressed in Garden Formal attire. This generally means midi to floor length dresses, floral prints are encouraged but not required, and chunky heels or wedges due to the terrain. If you prefer suits-- a suit and dress shoes, lighter or darker colored suits are OK. Keep in mind that this is an outdoor event, in Florida, so basically dress in the fanciest thing you are comfortable wearing outside, think breathable fabrics.
Florida in early April is still spring weather, though it is a bit hard to predict. The averages are typically 50-70 or there could be a heat wave (70-low 80s). The sun will set during cocktail hour and there will be a breeze from the lake, so it will cool down.
Yes! We request that if you do bring your child, that you be respectful during the ceremony and keep noise to a minimum. The wedding is outside, so there will be easy access to excuse yourself if you have a fussy little one. We will also be on a lakefront property, so please keep your children close. There will be alcohol and music with explicit language later in the evening (around 9).
Yes...but you probably want to get a rental car or plan to use Uber/Lyft. If you know other people coming to the wedding, try to coordinate and save money!
We are coordinating free transportation to and from the hotel, please give us a heads up if you'd like to utilize this option so we can give the hotel an accurate count. Alternatively, the venue is a 9 minute walk from the hotel.
