I met Michael at the 2021 4th of July fireworks in Elk Grove Village. My initial thoughts were "he's a player". I decided at that time he was going to stay in my friend zone. After some texts, we went out to dinner and concerts with hours upon hours of conversation. At that point my thoughts turned from "he's a player" to "he's soo nice - what's wrong with him?". After 2 months we announced our friendship via tshirts and at 3 months and alot of conversation and prayer changed our shirts to announce we were dating. You see, all my life I asked for a man that believed in God and got nowhere. Before meeting Michael I vowed the next man I dated had to be a Godly man. Wow! God worked fast once I changed my ask! I soon found that Michael was that Godly man I wanted to share my life with.
