Andrea and Thaddeus first met in 2016 through mutual friends. At the time, Thaddeus had made a pact with his best friend Gabe that they wouldn’t date anyone freshman year of high school—no girlfriends, no distractions. (Spoiler alert: that pact didn’t last very long.) What started as a friendship quickly turned into long phone calls every night, staying up far too late just talking and getting to know each other. Eventually, Thaddeus asked Andrea to homecoming—and by the end of that night, they officially started dating. From there, the two became inseparable. They became best friends, merged friend groups, and navigated high school and college side by side. Since then, they have built a life together full of love and now with a very spoiled cat, George. After college, they moved back home to Austin, Texas, where they truly began building their future together. Andrea never thought Thaddeus could surprise her—but he proved her wrong when he proposed near their favorite lakeside restaurant, one of the places closest to their hearts. She was completely surprised. As if that wasn’t enough, that same night he surprised her again with a secret engagement party at their apartment, surrounded by all of her closest friends. Now, after years of love, friendship, and growing together, Andrea and Thaddeus are so excited to say “I do" and begin the next chapter of their love story.
