Can I use my phone during the ceremony?

Answer

To help us create a meaningful and distraction-free atmosphere, we kindly ask that all phones be silenced and put away during the ceremony. We want everyone to be fully present with us in this special moment. After the ceremony, feel free to snap away, share memories, and celebrate with us! We’ll have plenty of photo ops and fun throughout the reception.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We’re going for dressy casual; think polished but comfortable! Sundresses, jumpsuits, button-downs, slacks, and nice shoes are perfect. No need for formal gowns or tuxes, but please skip jeans, shorts, and flip-flops. Feel free to add a little flair, we love seeing everyone’s personal style!

Can we bring our kids?

Answer

Yes, but only kids from close family and friends are welcome! We’re excited to celebrate with your little ones too. We just kindly ask that parents help keep children calm and comfortable during the ceremony so everyone can enjoy the moment. There’ll be plenty of space (and fun!) for them to enjoy afterward.

We’ve got you covered! During the cocktail hour, enjoy a variety of delicious hors d’oeuvres and light bites. Once the reception begins, we’ll be serving a full meal with options to satisfy every appetite. Come hungry, we can’t wait to share a meal and celebrate with you!

Is there a hotel block?

Answer

Yes! We’ve reserved a block of rooms at the Hampton Inn in Wilkesboro for your convenience. To take advantage of the special rate, please book your room up to 5 weeks before the wedding. Don’t wait too long! (The rooms will be blocked for the "Nickel Wedding").
