A swipe on Bumble turned into a lifetime together... Their first date was at a brewery in RiNo, where Zach happily sat in the sun and got a sunburn the day before starting a new job. Good banter and a love for Colorado kept more dates coming. A month into dating, Zach invited Regina to a “casual” Easter gathering (except anyone who knows Cindy Parsons knows she doesn’t host a casual Easter), where she got to meet his Colorado family. On a snowy April day, they decided to book a weekend getaway to Palm Springs in May, which was when Regina broke the news to her family that there was a guy she was *pretty* serious about. June came along and Regina left Zach for 10 days while she traveled to Sicily with her family. It was at this point both of them realized this was the real deal and just a few weeks later they shared “I love yous”. And it was good they had come to that conclusion because then they embarked on a “short” Midwestern 17 hour road trip back to Indiana for the annual 4th of July festivities. You really have to love someone to make that drive without stops! Since then, they have traveled thousands of miles together, spent many nights grilling on the porch, have completed home projects, have loved and lost their sweet dog Mutau, and adopted their new dog Panko. On the afternoon of December 13, 2025, Zach gave Regina a one hour heads up to get ready, then blindfolded her and drove her to a lookout point in Littleton, where friends Greg & Mindy were ready to capture the moment Zach got on one knee and proposed! They will elope this spring, but cannot wait to celebrate the excitement of the start of their new chapter together!
