Please contact us for any questions not posted about our big day via cell: 507-841-0289 call or text, or by Facebook Messenger.
Question

Will you be having the wedding as planned?

Answer

Yes! Seth and I happily said "I do" on our original date of November 7, 2020! We have waited a whole year and now get to celebrate with all our family and friends!

Question

Do you have any guests coming we should think of before making our plans?

Answer

Yes! Both of my grandparents are in their late 80's putting them in the COVID-19 high risk category. We also have relatives with other health issues that may put them at greater risk. Please be mindful of their safety when choosing whether or not you will be joining us on our big day. Please note: Grandpa Steffen and Grandma Van Westen are priority guests for us. Our day will be planned knowing they will be there.

Question

Are children welcome?

Answer

Of course they are! Seth and I recently added our newest little one, Jace, and we would love for her to meet all her cousins and friends! Besides, what would our day be without all of our nieces and nephews along with all of our family and friends' children.

Question

Will there be a meal provided?

Answer

We will no longer be providing a meal. This is strictly a dance reception. Please check out some of the local restaurants or eat before coming! A few snacks will be provided but please don't rely on these to fill you up!

Question

What are some of the local places to check out?

Answer

There sure is! Locals love all that Lakefield offers. Silverback's, The Shed, and the newly revamped bowling alley/restaurant, Dudley's Garage.

Question

What is being offered for drinks?

Answer

We are hoping to have two kegs for guests. All other beverages will be paid on your own.

Question

Will the dance be just as previously planned?

Answer

Yes! We will be doing a normal wedding dance with introductions and special dances. We also hope to have a fun little game as a fundraiser for the Lakes Regional maternity ward and Sanford NICU as both were so wonderful and all the staff very much appreciated during our stay when we welcomed Jace into the world.
