Is there a dress code?

Answer

Wedding Day: Cocktail attire - Suits, ties, cocktail or maxi dresses, or other dressy attire are perfect. Whatever you feel comfortable in! Kilts encouraged. After Party (Sunday) Semi-formal - think nice but relaxed. Dresses that are knee-length, midi, or maxi; a skirt and blouse combination; or a dressy jumpsuit. Dress pants and a button-down shirt. No need for suits or cocktail dresses, but feel free to dress up a little if you’d like.

Do you have a gift registry?

We’ve decided not to have a registry, your presence is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would still like to give something, a contribution towards our honeymoon and future together would be deeply appreciated.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony? What type of ceremony will it be?

Answer

Our ceremony will be a Catholic Mass celebrated in both Polish and English. We’ll provide a translation and explanation pamphlet so everyone can follow along and understand the meaning behind each part of the Mass. The ceremony will take place at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Poronin and will begin at 2:00 pm, so please plan to arrive a little earlier to get settled. You’re welcome to sit on either side of the church.

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a coach providing transport from Małe Ciche (from Hotel "U Kasi and Janusz") and from the hotels near the venue ("U Kasi" and "Tatrzański Bór") to the ceremony and back. Exact pick-up and return times and location will be confirmed closer to the date.

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Probably cold. End of October in the mountains is cool to cold. Last year’s weather ranged from daytime highs of 59–68°F (15–20°C) to chilly evenings of 41–50°F (5–10°C). Mountain weather can be unpredictable, so be prepared for chilly conditions.
