For about 6 months prior to the proposal, I would tell close friends and family that I had a feeling Bubba was going to propose soon. The day before the proposal I had a feeling Bubba was getting me a ring for Christmas which led me to asking people if they knew anything. As if they would tell me if they did.. The following day was our annual Christmas dinner gathering which was being held at our home. I was running through the house until I stumbled across him as he was getting down on one knee and asked me to marry him. PS: Bubba called my mom to get her opinion on a Christmas gift the day before the proposal and she recommended a ring as there is nothing more I could want.
