Maid of Honor
Ah yes… my wonderful big sister, Lavet. She’s had a full two-year head start on life and hasn’t let me forget it since. Lavet is basically my unpaid life coach, part-time fashion critic, and full-time bossy older sibling — and apparently, my Maid of Honor too (because who else would be qualified to tell me what to do on my wedding day?). She’s been giving me advice I didn’t ask for since birth, but I wouldn’t trade her for anything… except maybe a lifetime supply of quiet mornings. Get ready to see her running the show, correcting me mid-sentence, and reminding everyone that she was here first.

I met Regina in high school back in 1996, and from that moment on, we were inseparable. We ran track together, shared secrets, inside jokes, and more late night phone calls than we could ever count. Even though life eventually took us miles apart, our bond never wavered. We have always made the time, picked up where we left off, and stayed just as close as day one. She’s more than a best friend, she’s a constant in my life, my chosen family. Being part of her bridal party is such a meaningful moment, and I’m beyond honored to stand beside her as she begins this beautiful new chapter. Watching her find the love she deserves is a joy I’ll treasure forever. # goodanswer

Gee isn’t just one of my closest friends — she’s like family, a sister in every way that counts. I’d do anything for this beautiful soul because I know she’d do the same for me, no questions asked. She’s one of the most loyal people I’ve ever met — the type who’ll defend you in rooms you’re not even in (and she’s been doing that for over 13 years now!). Honestly, our story goes back even further… I knew we were going to be friends for life when I ran into her in Cancun and she greeted me with a big smile and a “Aww hey, bunkin (country bunkin)!” 😂 From that moment on, it’s been nothing but laughs, loyalty, and unforgettable memories.

From the moment we met at MTA in 2015, I knew Gee would be one of the few people I’d actually hang out with outside of work. What started as coworkers bonding over our hatred for the same things on the job 😩 quickly evolved into a deep friendship and over the years, a solid sisterhood. Over the past decade, our bond have grown stronger through our unforgettable travels, deep convos, plenty laughs and our daily reels sharing lol, because are you even true friends if you’re not sending each other at least 10 a day?! We’ve been each other’s support system, hype women, and most importantly…reality checkers, always ready with that “be so for real” reminder when needed. I’m beyond excited and truly honored to be standing by her side on such a special day!

I met Regina through traveling, and from that first connection, it felt like we had known each other forever. Even though we live in two different countries, our friendship has only grown stronger over the years. I lovingly call her my Libra twin because we share so much in common, from our energy to our outlook on life. She has such a kind, genuine spirit, and it’s been a gift to have her in my life. Being part of Regina and Claude’s special day is such an honour, and I’m truly grateful to stand beside her as she steps into this new chapter. Seeing her step into the kind of love she’s always deserved is a moment I’ll hold in my heart forever. 🫶🏿

As an only child, I've always been in pursuit of finding true sisterhood then Boom, I met Gee! In a short span, I've learned and admire a lot of Gee. Not only is she a fighter, but she always stands up for the people she loves. She has shown me unconditional love from day 1, even called me her Haitian sensation. Heck! she even inspired me to tap into spirituality and its true essence - I never looked back! Regina, I love and appreciate you for always being there, especially after the passing of my mom. You're an epitome of a great friend, a sister, and a mentor. You know traveling is my favorite hubby, so I can't wait to collect a passport stamp for your special day! Thank you for being you-Cheers to you and Sir. Black love is always top tier!

I met Regina affectionately known as Gee in 2020 at a collegiate event. What began as two strangers walking to a train station blossomed into something far greater: a friendship, or rather, a sisterhood unlike any other. Being in Regina’s presence is truly a gift. She is a constant source of support, showing up with grace and sincerity even for the dreams closest to my heart. In fact, she was the very first client of my laundry services business, a gesture I will never forget. Regina is a remarkable woman, steadfast, generous, and radiant. I deeply admire her tenacity, her joyful spirit, and that unforgettable smile that lights up any room. So when she asked me to be part of her bridal party, there wasn’t a moment of hesitation. It is both an honor and a privilege to stand beside her in celebration of this beautiful union one rooted in love, respect, and shared dreams.
