Location:WAILUA MARINA STATE PARK (LOCATED MAUKA, ON THE LIHUE SIDE OF THE WAILUA RIVER BRIDGE.) Drive to the far end of the park. Driving Directions: From the North Shore (Princeville, Kilauea) and the Kapaa and Wailua areas, Drive South on Hwy. 56. Cross the Wailua River Bridge and then take an immediate right turn into the Wailua marina State Park. From the South Shore (Poipu, Waimea) and Lihue, Drive towards the Lihue Airport and connect onto Hwy. 56, North ~ From the airport, drive 5 miles passing the Wailua Golf Course and the Aloha Beach Resort. Turn left just prior to crossing the Wailua River Bridge.
