Some love stories are written in ink, others in time. Ours began on the warm, bustling grounds of the National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) Camp in Omu Aran, Ekiti State, Nigeria. It was there that fate, with its intricate hand, wove our paths together. Regina, a Linguist and Adeniji, a Chemical Engineer, were ready to serve our beloved country of birth, Nigeria. Little did we know that what started as a simple introduction from a mutual friend, Nifemi, would blossom into a decade long journey of walking in purpose, growth and an unbreakable love for each other. From the very beginning, our differences and similarities enriched our bond. Adeniji, with his Yoruba heritage, and Regina, deeply rooted in the Ijaw and Igbo traditions, found beauty in the diversity of their cultures. We built a love that transcended backgrounds, bound by mutual respect, shared dreams, and an unwavering commitment to each other. Our values grounded in God, love and family have sustained us through the years as we navigated life’s milestones—earning several graduate degrees, building our careers, and nurturing a relationship that only grew stronger with time. Every moment—every laughter-filled conversation, every challenge overcome, every shared meal—became a testament to the love we nurtured. Through the highs and lows, our love remained steadfast, a guiding light leading us to this beautiful day. Our beloved friends and family, we celebrate not just our union but the journey that brought us here. A decade of love, understanding, and unwavering support has led to this moment where we say ‘I do’—not just for today but for every day to come. Thank you for being part of our story, for witnessing our love, and for sharing in our joy. We can’t wait to embark on this new chapter together, with all of you by our side. With love, Regina & Adeniji
