The Strip District
The Strip is a half-mile section of converted warehouses lined with an eclectic mix of stores, restaurants and bars. Some of our favorite weekend stops in The Strip are Wholey's Market, De Fer Coffee & Tea, and Pennsylvania Macaroni Company.
The Duquesne Incline
The Duquesne Incline is a slow moving Tram Car that will take you up to the best views of the city. Grandview Avenue offers spectacular views, with some cool spots for a bite to eat around the corner on Shiloh Street
Grist House Craft Brewery
Grist House is just down the street from our home in Millvale. It is our favorite Brewery in Pittsburgh and maybe even the world :)
Point State Park
Point State Park, is located in Downtown Pittsburgh at the confluence of the Monongahela, Allegheny and Ohio rivers. It's a great spot to bike or walk to on a sunny day and watch the boats go by.
