If you're reading this message, then you are very near and dear to our hearts. We want to emphasize how much we love and appreciate all of you, and all the kindness you've shown us. You likely also know one (or both) of us fairly well, and as such, it should come as no surprise that we took too much on to our plates. June will be a very busy time of year for us; John will have recently graduated from his master's program and hopefully be beginning his career. Reghan will be in the throes of the latter half of her undergraduate studies and will simultaneously be looking into post-graduation programs. We recently sat down and discussed how we both were feeling about the wedding, and we realized that we were tremendously overwhelmed with the scale of it all, and that we didn't want to start our marriage off under those circumstances. That being said, this elopement does not mean we will not ever celebrate with you-we would love to show our gratitude in person at some point down the line!
