Jacob and Reggie met through their work at KFYR-TV in Bismarck, ND. Jacob began his career in weather as the weekend meteorologist and web producer in June 2021. Reggie joined the station almost a year later as the 6 & 10 p.m. producer in May of 2022. The two got to know each other at work, and after a little nudge from a coworker, went on a date in August 2022. Their first date was at a local coffee shop. They say, "The coffee was terrible, but the company was amazing." Jacob was late for work that day after the couple lost track of time. Later that week, they went on a photography adventure to take pictures of the Aurora Borealis. The two started attending daily mass together at the Cathedral of the Holy Spirit and began officially dating on the Feast of the Assumption (Aug. 15). When asked for a quote about their upcoming marriage they told us, "We couldn't be happier! We are excited to lead each other to sainthood by running towards Christ together throughout our marriage." The soon-to-be Morses are not the first couple to meet at KFYR-TV. Monica Hannan and Cliff Naylor met while working in Williston. Kevin Lawrence met his wife at KFYR-TV. CMT and 4 p.m. producer Heather Brumbaugh met her husband here as well. Several other couples also formed at KFYR recently, though have yet to tie the knot, notably, weekend anchor and producer Emmeline Ivy met her fiancé through work at KFYR. We were unable to find out if there is indeed some special potion bringing people together at the station, but Your News Leader will keep you updated.
