Thomas and I met on the first day of school freshman year at Clemson University. I took a picture of him from a distance and sent it to my roommates at the time and told them about the new cute boy in my class! It wasn't until October that he noticed me and we started talking more. We started going on a few dates and began dating on November 18, 2019!

This was the best day!! My roommate Liz had told me her parents had an anniversary dinner planned at Hotel Domestique in Traveler's Rest. They had to "back out" last minute and she wanted to know if I wanted to use the reservation with her. She told me, "we could invite a few other people and make it a nice dinner before senior year starts!" I most definitely believed her because we are always looking for an excuse to go somewhere fun for dinner!! We leave for "dinner" with a car packed full of girls on Sunday and they decide they want to take pictures at The Glassy Chapel in The Cliffs before dinner (me being car sick in the back was not thrilled about this idea but went along with it anyways). When we pulled in there was an envelope sitting on the grass in front of the chapel. When I go to turn around, all my friends are behind me squealing and smiling with their phones out ready to record! I walked into the chapel where Thomas met me at the door and two of my best friends taking pictures!! This eventually led to a "Yes!" and a night full of celebrating with friends and family!
