For I can't help falling in love with you

In 2012, Steven and Regan met on the first day of track practice at Lake Howell High School. Go Silverhawks! They soon became best friends, although Steven always says that Regan had no choice and was going to be his friend no matter what. They remained close throughout high school, and years later when Steven joined the Marine Corps and Regan went to college, the friendship stayed strong. Through visits, adventures, and cheering each other on in life, the two BFF's did it all. Towards the end of his service, Steven made his move and finally got out of the friend zone (six years later). Three years of dating and here we are. :)

Regan and Steven had been discussing their future and getting married for a while, so everyone knew it would happen at some point. Originally, the proposal was going to happen in February 2021, but as Steven says, "I couldn't wait that long". Also, Regan knew something was up... He decided to set up "date night" for the two of them at Hillstone in Winter Park, Florida. Before dinner started, Steven REALLY wanted to sit on the dock and look over the water... unfortunately it was pretty warm that day and the plan almost didn't work; Regan was ready to go inside for the air conditioning. When Regan didn't stand up at "go time", Steven had to pull out the full name (Regan Nicole) to get her up. They both say they can't remember exactly what Steven said, but the ring came out and she said yes!! ***shout out to Riley for the proposal pics, and helping Steven with the ring and the planning.. a true Maid of Honor
