Maid of Honor
Regan and I became friends in the 2nd grade at Tracy Elementary School. Since then we have gone on vacations, to Phillies games, concerts, and have had a million and one sleepovers. I am honored to call Regan my best friend and I cannot wait to stand by her side as her maid of honor. Note from Regan: I'm Brooke's maid of honor in her wedding two weeks after mine!!
Best Man
Paul and I met in college freshman year in psychology 101 and band. Though it took me a good month to realize they were the same Paul, we became good friends specifically through the GW Pep Band. Junior and senior year we really became close, spending endless hours on video games, card games, band, bars, and walking to and from The Diner for midnight snacks. Whether serious talks or random shenanigans, Paul is always making my life more meaningful and fun. I am so excited to be a part of Regan & Paul's wedding!
Bridesmaid
Regan and I met in grad school and were immediately bonded by our dark sense of humor and love for cats. The more I spent time with Regan, the more I loved her. I can’t wait to see her and Paul celebrate their love for one another with all of their friends and family.
Best Man
Paul and I met in band at GW, where we both played saxophone. We did everything together with band, going on road trips to tournaments, parties, and concerts together for four wonderful years. In fact, I enjoyed hanging out with Paul so much that I followed in his footsteps to live in the same apartment complex as Regan and him. Also, I’d never heard of Pennsylvania or the Phillies or the Eagles until I met Paul, but he made sure I wouldn’t forget about any of them. In all seriousness, I’m excited for both Paul and Regan as they take this next step and I’m honored to be standing by their side.
Bridesmaid
Regan and I met in 2013 at the West Chester high school summer music institute. I explicitly remember talking about our mutual love for Streetlight Manifesto on the floor of 141 on the first day of camp. A few days later, we also commiserated outside the campus gym over our mutual disdain for volleyball while the rest of the campers played (and our professor got a black eye from being hit in the face with the ball). Regan remembers none of this, and claims the first time we met was when she was assigned as my Big in SAI. She also claims that I am bad at cooking, which is obviously untrue (see visual aid 1.0). All evidence points to one conclusion — that Regan has invited the wrong person to be part of her bridal party and is not entirely clear on my identity but is already in too deep, so here I will stay.
Groomsman/Officiant
Paul and I met after fate assigned me a dorm room two doors down from his during our freshman year of college. We became fast friends. A year later, we were roommates. And a year after that, we found out we were extended cousins (by marriage, Paul will make me say). After standing by Paul’s side through so many highs and lows - mostly during Eagles games - it will be an honor to stand by his side as he and Regan make their vows to one another.
Bridesmaid
Regan and I met at my wedding! Paul and my husband Sig were friends in college, and they both thought that we would get along, especially since Sig and I were above to move to DC. We hit it off immediately, bonding over fundraising war stories, America's Next Top Model, and our love of cats (both the animal and the 2019 film). I'm so lucky to have made such an incredible friend - I don't know what my life in DC would look like without Regan!
Groomsman
Paul and I met during our first year at GW in the fall of 2012. We were both in the GW Band and we’ve grown closer ever since through the adventures and chaos that come with being in a college pep band. Paul is a caring and dependable friend and I’m honored to be a part of Paul and Regan’s special day.
Bridesmaid
Regan and I first met in 2016 playing saxophone in WCU’s marching band. The following year, we continued bonding through the chaos of ram band, especially on the bus rides to and from shows. I later joined WCU’s Sigma Alpha Iota fraternity, where Regan became my sister and grandbig in the organization. Since college, we have remained close through fun trips, bad movie nights, and our shared love of being cat moms.
Groomsman
Paul and I met in middle school, where we bonded over class projects like filming an infomercial for "Insta-hair". Through high school, we both joined any musical group we could and made it through some long band trips together, from Boston to San Diego. I am thrilled to be a part of their wedding party and to celebrate Paul and Regan's lifelong union, and I wish them the best of luck.
Bridesmaid
Regan and I met through Paul, with whom I went to college, and quickly bonded over margarita happy hours, a mutual distaste for men, and trivia nights. Living in the same two-block radius makes it easy to meet up, and we can often be found trying out new restaurants in the neighborhood (or, as creatures of habit, visiting more familiar haunts).
Groomsman
Paul and I met in middle school, but we really got to know each other during high school where we both took part in practically every running sport and musical ensemble available. I have many fond memories of auditions and PRs, bus rides and sledding, carbo loading and fireworks, all enjoyed with Paul and our mutual friends. I’m delighted and thankful to share the beginning of this next stage in Paul’s life with his friends, family, and loved ones.
Honorary Bridescat
I was adopted in September of 2020. My parents had just moved to a larger apartment shortly after the start of the pandemic and my mom was working from home full time. She thought getting a second cat would be a very good idea and with some convincing, my dad got on board. Before I lived with my parents and my sister Juliet I was in a foster where I accidentally got stuck in a wall for several days. My favorite things are laying in a beam of sunlight, getting my belly rubbed, and eating treats!
Honorary Groomscat
I was adopted from the cat cafe in Georgetown, Crumbs & Whiskers, in April 2019. My parents went to the cafe to find a cat and I chose them immediately by climbing onto my mom's lap. My life was perfect before my parents adopted my annoying little brother. My favorite things are eating, napping, and climbing into my dad's lap just before he needs to get up to do something.
