What time should I arrive?: Please arrive 15-30 minutes before the ceremony starts to give you time to park, find your seat, and settle in before the celebration begins. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 p.m. To ensure the ceremony runs smoothly, late arrivals will not be admitted after it has begun.
Can I bring a plus one: As much as we’d love to include everyone, we both come from large families and unfortunately can't accommodate additional guests. Unless a guest is named on your save the date and invitation, we’re unable to extend a plus one. When you RSVP, you’ll see if a plus one is included with your invitation as there will be a space to add a name and meal choice for your plus one. Are kids welcome?: We love your kids, but we’ve decided to keep our celebration adults-only. Kids are only invited if their names are specifically listed on the online invitation or appear as options in the RSVP section. If your child’s name is not included, we kindly ask that they not attend. Thank you so much for understanding, we can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Is there a gift registry?: We don’t have a traditional registry at this time, as we've lived together for a while, we already have many of the things we need. If you'd like to give a gift, a contribution toward our honeymoon or saving for our first home would mean the world to us. Your love and support are the greatest gift of all!
When is the RSVP deadline?: The deadline to RSVP is strictly April 16th. If we haven’t heard from you by then, we’ll assume you’re unable to attend. What should I do if I can’t attend?: Please RSVP to let us know if you won't be attending, this saves us from playing the world’s slowest game of hide-and-seek. We’ll miss you, but appreciate the heads-up!
Where should I sit?: Feel free to sit on either side of the aisle. We’ll have some seats reserved at the front for specified guests, but the rest are open. Pick a seat, not a side!
Are photos allowed during the ceremony?: We kindly ask that you keep phones and cameras away during the ceremony, we’ve hired a professional photographer to capture the magic. Be present with us in the moment! After the ceremony, snap away and be sure to send us your favourites!
Will the ceremony and reception be in the same location?: The wedding will be fully at The Wilds so once you arrive you can stay until its time to leave!
When can we check into our room?: If you are staying at the wilds please be aware that while our ceremony starts at 2:00 PM, room check in isn't available until 4:00 PM. This leaves plenty of time to check in between the ceremony and reception.
What can we do between the ceremony and reception?: After the ceremony, feel free to grab a drink at the bar and mingle. If the weather’s nice, we’ll have lawn games set up outside. Staying overnight at The Wilds? You’re welcome to head back to your room to freshen up or relax before the evening festivities begin!
Is there a bar?: Yes! We’ll be serving wine during the reception dinner, and a cash bar will be available throughout the evening. Cheers! Can I bring my own booze?: Unfortunately you cannot bring outside alcohol into the venue, but there will be a cash bar available.
What time does the party end (or does it…)?: We’ve got the space until 2:00 AM, so if you're up for late-night dancing, you’re in luck! That said, no pressure, head out whenever you're ready. Whether you stay late or call it early, we just hope you have an amazing time!
