Location, Location, Location

When booking a hotel room or short-term vacation rental property, we recommend staying within the Historic District specifically where everything is within a 5-15 minute walk. If you look at a map of the historic district, stay east of Martin Luther King Jr Blvd; west of E. Broad St; north of Anderson St when choosing a property. Some hotels require valet overnight parking. There are numerous public parking garages located around every corner in the historic district.

Airport Transportation

The Savannah-Hilton Head Airport is located about 15-20 minutes from the heart of Savannah Historic District. Skip the rental vehicle, and just Uber/Lyft from the airport to where you are staying. If staying in the historic district, everything is walkable for the most part.
