No! The ceremony will be in a small community called Westphalia while the reception is in Waco. There is 41 miles/49 minutes in between both sites, please be aware there is a bridge out on the route which will add a small detour (this has been accounted for in the milage/time). The ceremony will start at 3PM we are estimating 30-45 minutes followed by pictures. We have set a reception start time at 5PM to account for travel and checking into accommodations. Please feel free to check out everything the unique hotel has to offer if you arrive prior to 5PM, there is also a bar located on the bottom floor.
Semi-Formal: Tuxes and gowns are welcome, and so are suits and cocktail dresses. We kindly ask that there be no denim worn.
Due to the size of the venue and limited guest count we are unable to accommodate for any children with the exception of immediate family. We hope you can understand!
The ceremony will begin promptly at 3:00 PM. Please plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early to park and find a seat.
Please RSVP by December 16th on our wedding website. This is very important as we will have a plated dinner and need to account for everyone!
Due to size of the venue and limited guest count we are only able to accommodate the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP on our wedding website.
There is a paved parking lot located directly in front of the church. Hotel 1982 does offer valet parking for $25/night located at the front entrance to the hotel (N 7th Street side) There are several parking lots around the Hotel and downtown Waco, please pay attention to public parking vs private parking!
We will be having an UNPLUGGED ceremony. We ask that your phones will remain turned off throughout the ceremony as you will allow the professionals that we have hired to capture all of the amazing photos. We promise to share all of our photos with you once we receive our wedding gallery back!
