FAQs

Question

What should I wear to the ceremony at St. Michael’s Cathedral?

Answer

As the ceremony is taking place in a church, we kindly ask guests to dress respectfully. Formal or semi-formal attire is appropriate.

Question

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not have a traditional registry. Your presence at our wedding is the only gift we need! There will be a card box at the reception for those who wish to give a monetary gift.

Question

What is the timeline for the wedding day?

Answer

We ask guests to arrive at 2:45pm at St. Michael’s Cathedral. After the ceremony, there will be 1-2 hours of downtime before the reception starts at Casa Loma. Casa Loma is a historic museum and castle within close proximity of the city, so guests are welcome to explore the beautiful grounds or, if they prefer, head back to their hotel to freshen up before cocktails begin promptly at 6pm. Dinner and dancing will follow.

Question

What if I have dietary restrictions?

Answer

Please let us know about any dietary restrictions or allergies when you RSVP. We’ll do our best to accommodate everyone’s needs.

Question

Are kids welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adult-only celebration. We hope you enjoy a night out to relax and celebrate with us!

Question

Can we take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that guests refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. The wedding ceremony is a sacred and meaningful moment, and we hope everyone can be fully present to honor the significance of the sacrament. Our professional photographer will be capturing everything, and we look forward to sharing those special memories with you afterward. You're more than welcome to take photos and videos during the reception!

Question

I am traveling from the United States, is there anything I should know?

Answer

If you're traveling from the United States, make sure your passport is valid and current. Guests with a criminal history may need to secure a temporary resident visa (TRV) before entering the country.
