Gateway Trailhead - McDowell Sonoran Preserve
Lots of gorgeous hiking from beginner and family friendly up to difficult hiking levels. One of our favorites with lots of parking and easy to spot mile markers.
Grounds on 2nd
Walkable from the Valley Ho. Great coffee, breakfast sandwiches, and beer & wine selections! ...we may or may not get a cheeky Ben & Jerry's here too on occassion...
Fourtillfour Cafe
One of our very most frequented coffee shops. About a 10 minute walk from the Valley Ho. They also do a car show on Saturday mornings. We recommend the matcha, rosemary latte, and any of the muffins!
Pizzeria Virtu
This is truly one of our most cherished restaurants! Great pizza, spritz's, wine list, salads, and tiramisu (basically everything is a 10/10)!
Arizona Canal
Perfect for a walk, run, bike, etc! You can hop on the canal on 68th & Indian School. If you go East, you'll reach Old Town and Fashion Square Mall with lots to do. If you head West, you get a quieter canal path. FUN FACT: Don has run over 1,000 miles on this canal!

Cornish Pasty Co
Our favorite super casual spot. Pasties are like big hot pockets. Great beer and bar like atmosphere.
Camelback Mountain
Please bring water for this hike. It is harder than it seems. (but gorgeous)
