It was meant to be!

Caleb and Regan have known of each other since they were young. Caleb was always around the Gully family, but it wasn’t until one day at Hays City Store that Regan really noticed him. Regan was working, Caleb was sitting at the bar, and in a move that was either charming or bold, depending on who you ask, Caleb offered her his prime rib. Looking back, it seems like their paths were crossing long before they ever became a couple. They both worked at Salt Lick BBQ and Hays City Store—just at different times. They both spent time working on ships, with Regan working on a cruise ship and Caleb serving in the Navy. They even both lived in Guam, though never at the same time. Somehow, their lives kept following similar paths until they finally found each other. It almost feels like destiny had been bringing them together all along. At the time, Regan was planning on moving to Hawaii, so there didn’t seem to be much of a future for the two of them. But after deciding that Texas was where her heart truly belonged, she found herself ready to give Caleb a chance—even if he was a little goofy. After spending time together, they quickly fell in love. Their relationship had its share of ups and downs in the beginning, but through it all they continued choosing each other. Together, they made the life-changing decision to get sober and build a better future. Just one week after getting sober, they found out they were expecting the most incredible blessing of their lives. On November 2, 2024, Waylon James King entered the world and changed everything for the better. Becoming parents gave Caleb and Regan a love and purpose greater than they ever imagined. After Waylon was born, Caleb decided it was time to make things official. After all, Regan couldn’t be the only one in the family who wasn’t a King. ❤️ Now, they look forward to celebrating not only their wedding day, but the journey that brought them here—the twists, turns, second chances, and all the little moments that make them believe they were always meant to find each other.
