Please let us know by July 31, 2025. The sooner, the better though!
No, because of the intimate size of the ceremony we can't block out a small enough number of rooms to work for us. So - it is recommended that guests utilize either Airbnb or Vrbo (or local hotels) for accommodations. Please reach out to either Ethan or Regan with any specific accommodation related questions!
The average temperature in Bar Harbor towards the end of September is in the mid 60s during the day and the mid to low 40s at night. Please remember, it is Maine - and the rain during this time of the year can be extremely unpredictable, so plan accordingly! Also, the ceremony will be located on an exposed outcrop next to the ocean - in the morning - so it might be a bit slippery and chilly.
Business casual - we will be outdoors, in a national park. Please wear comfy shoes (no heels highly recommended!). You will likely also want to bring some layers since we're getting married right off the water and you never about wind or how cool it will be on a September Maine morning! We are obviously hoping for no rain, but to be safe, you may want to have an umbrella or jacket on standby!
Yes! We do highly recommend carpooling into Acadia, as there is a need for a day park pass or National Park pass. We have a few passes that we can use between the group, but this will be much easier to manage with fewer cars. Everyone should also try to leave from Sweet Pea's after coffee/tea/snacks and follow the leader to Otter Point! There is plenty of parking at Sweet Pea's. For the After Party, there are only two parking spots at the house for designated parking, so you will have to park elsewhere - there is a free parking lot that's about a 5 minute walk away from the house. Street parking in residential areas is permitted for residents and highly enforced, so do not try to park on Ledgelawn Ave.
