Ciara and Victor met after matching online in January of 23' at Kodiak’s Bar & Grill in Speers, PA. Chosen because it sat exactly halfway between them (they lived an hour apart), the location was perfect. Conversation flowed so easily that the waitress stopped by three times, gently reminding them that menus still existed. Their connection felt instant, familiar, and effortless, like two people who somehow already knew each other. The rest, well.. All of 2023 was spent doing long distance, a chapter filled with weekend drives and countdowns. Luckily, they shared the same days off (Sundays and Mondays), which quickly became sacred. Those days were dedicated to each other, enjoying the quiet moments together, visiting each other's families, going to random town diners for breakfast, and throughout the year, took trips to Deep Creek, Hocking Hills, Savannah GA, and continued to build memories that made the miles feel smaller. By February of 2024, the distance officially disappeared when they moved in together in Belle Vernon. Their home quickly filled with love, laughter, three cats (Kane, Kosmo, and Nova), and their pitty, Luna. In 2025, they returned to Hocking Hills for Victor’s 36th birthday, revisiting a place that had become a favorite part of their story. Not long after, Victor proposed in their cabin rental on the last day of their visit. Heartfelt. Meaningful. Perfectly them.
