We hit it off instantly and were pretty much inseparable since, doing everything together throughout high school. His parents embraced me like one of their own, making me feel like a part of their family. It just wouldn't feel right without him at my side as a groomsman.

Later, we both ended up on the same high school wrestling team. Those hours of hard training, weight-cutting, and mutual encouragement created an unbreakable bond.
