It all started in 2021 in Birmingham, Alabama, when we crossed paths in optometry school. We like to say we saw something special in each other early on (pun fully intended), but at first, we were just friends trying to survive graduate school together. Then everything changed during a spring break beach trip. After spending days together outside of school and getting to know each other more, we realized there was more than just friendship here. By the time we got back to Birmingham, we were basically inseparable—and the rest is history! We have now traded our textbooks for rings and made the big move to Delaware to start our life together. From classmates to coworkers to parents of two mischievous felines, we can’t wait to keep building our future together as one. We cannot wait to celebrate this beautiful moment with our favorite people!
