Ashley River Park
Reeves works for Dorchester County Parks and Recreation! This is her home base. :) It has a beautiful pond, lots of trails, and awesome birding.
Rosebrock Park
This is where we got engaged. Rosebrock has a special place in our hearts! Make sure to pack bug spray and stay on the trail (lots of poison ivy). The birding here is also great.
Summerville Farmers Market
Every Saturday from April to December they have all kinds of fresh market foods as well as crafts and incredibly fun people. Will and I love taking our dog, Bean, here and getting fresh produce!
The Pickle Bar
We went here for our family Stay-Cation. To no one's surprise Will fit right in with the competitiveness of (some) of my family. Only two people fell!
World's Largest Sweet Tea
Summerville is home to the world's largest sweet tea!! It's in the cute downtown part of Summerville, so take a walk around and enjoy the good vibes. :)
Cypress Gardens
This place has an alligator exhibit with the LARGEST American Alligator that Will and I have EVER seen. Such a fun place to take a walk around and you can even hop in a canoe and paddle across the swamp. There have been many movies and TV shows filmed here but here are some of the highlights: The Notebook, The Patriot, Outer Banks, and Swamp Thing.
Old Santee Canal Park
This is where we are getting married!! But Will and I love this park for more than just our venue. There are amazing walking trails, the birding is fantastic, and I love taking Bean here for walks and to explore. Bring bug spray and watch out for cool alligators!
Hutchinson Square
Located right in the heart of Downtown Summerville, this cute little park has some benches you can sit on, but is also within walking distance of so many cute stores and restaurants!
Cuppa Manna
We love this little coffee shop. They have great coffee and the inside is so cute and makes me happy to see all the Bible verses.
Benny Mazzetto's
If you want to eat the largest and most delicious pizza slice ever go here!! Will and I have been here on a few dates and it never disappoints. :)
Biscuit Belly - Summerville
If you want a really tasty fancy biscuit or cup of coffee go here!! Will and I are suckers for a nice brunch after church and while this place can get busy, the food does not disappoint. Highly recommend!
