We're Getting Married!!

Her Side: Freezing together through one of the biggest snow storms of our lives, huddled over textbooks and coffee, we crammed for nursing school tests together. I remember thinking, Who is this guy who keeps coming up with creative mnemonics? That study session turned into more, and before we knew it, we were not just surviving nursing school together—we were thriving. His Side: She showed up with highlighters, flashcards, and this incredible drive. I was instantly impressed—and maybe a little intimidated. She did have the reputation for knowing all the material before class even started for the semester. But as we kept studying, laughing, and supporting each other through late nights and clinicals, it became clear we had something special beyond just school. Together: From that first snowy study session, we’ve been side by side—graduating nursing school together, making the big move to Houston, and now working as nurses on the same team. We’ve even decided to go back to school again (yes, we’re gluttons for punishment!)—this time to pursue our doctoral degrees together. When we’re not in scrubs or hitting the books, we love exploring and adventuring. We've gone skiing in Utah, taken family vacations in Missouri, and even hiked the Grand Canyon—only half though! Through every shift, semester, and adventure, we’ve grown stronger together. And now, we can't wait to take on this next chapter—marriage—with all of you by our side.
