First, a dance. Then, another. Then, a life of love. We have been together since early 2019, when Reese asked Michael to a school dance, after which Michael asked Reese to prom. Shortly after, we started officially dating. As high school sweethearts, we have not only spent our entire adult lives together, we have had the joy of pursuing each other amidst many seasons of life. When you fall in love at ages 14 and 16, that love may be young and naïve at first, but it paves the way for a much richer, deeper bond to develop, together. Between high school, college, and a graduate program, we have watched each other grow and been side-by-side through some of life’s richest and most challenging chapters. As we look toward this new phase of our lives, we are overjoyed to be entering into it together, whatever it may hold.
