Question

What is a "New Orleans Style" reception?

Answer

Think of it as one big party! Instead of assigned seats or a formal dinner, there’ll be food stations out all night so you can sit and have dinner, get a drink and visit with friends, or start dancing whenever you feel like it. It’s the perfect way to celebrate New Orleans–style!

Question

What is a Second Line Parade?

Answer

A Second Line Parade is a classic New Orleans tradition with a brass band leading the way as everyone dances and celebrates through the streets. It marks the beginning of a new life for the couple and is a special way for everyone to celebrate together! Right after the ceremony, we’ll parade through the French Quarter before heading back to the venue for the reception.

Question

What if I want to join the Second Line but walking the whole way feels like too much?

Answer

We’ve got you covered! A pedicab can be arranged so you can ride alongside the parade and still be part of the fun. Just let us know about a week in advance so we can make arrangements.

Question

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

We invite our guests to wear spring semi-formal attire—suits, flowing gowns, and cocktail dresses. Embrace the vibrant spirit of New Orleans, and have fun with color!

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

While we love your kids, we've decided to make our wedding an adults-only celebration. Thank you for understanding!
