Our story started in our shared hometown of Chattanooga, Tennessee, but truly began when we met for the first time at a summer camp in Kentucky. After that summer, we stayed connected and grew closer over time. What started as a friendship slowly turned into something more, and on New Year’s Day in 2020, we officially began dating. Since then, we have been high school sweethearts who have grown up together through so many different seasons of life. Our relationship has carried us through our final years in Soddy Daisy, college at Auburn University and the University of Tennessee, summer internships, military trainings, long distance, and the beginning of our careers. Through all of the changes, busy schedules, and time spent apart, we have always found our way back to each other and made time for the relationship we were building. Along the way, some of our favorite memories have come from holidays at home, summer visits, road trips, football games, mountain hikes, and beach vacations. On March 1st, 2026, Reese proposed at Dream Lake in Rocky Mountain National Park in Colorado, surrounded by snow. Being outdoors has always been something we have loved sharing together, and over the years, we have been lucky to hike in so many beautiful places. After making our way through waist-deep snow, saying yes in a place that felt so true to who we are and the memories we have made together could not have been more perfect. Now, after nearly seven years together, we are so excited to begin this next chapter as husband and wife. We are grateful for the love and support our family and friends have shown us throughout our relationship, and we cannot wait to celebrate with you this November.
