Both the ceremony and reception will be held at the Island House at Belle Mer in Newport, Rhode Island on Sunday, August 16th. The ceremony will start promptly at 4:30pm so plan to arrive no later than 4:00pm.
Newport offers a variety of different hospitality options at various price points, including Hotels and Airbnbs. We have reserved a room block with a limited number of rooms at the Newport Beach Hotel & Suites in Middletown, RI. Refer to the Travel Page for more information on our room block. Plan accordingly as Newport can be very busy in the summer!
We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. As such, the dress code is formal attire. Ladies, please refrain from wearing colors typically worn by the bride including white, ivory, and cream.
The ceremony will take place outdoors by the water (with a tentative indoor rain plan if needed). Cocktail hour will be indoor/outdoor and the reception will be held indoors.
The RSVP deadline is June 30, 2026 and is included within your formal invitation.
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event.
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for your understanding!
Yes! Belle Mer has plenty of free parking for the event.
