Almost anywhere you will need to go is within walking distance once inside the reef. While you will not need a car to get around Ocean Reef Club, golf carts are by far the best (and most fun!) way to get around Ocean Reef Club. There will be free parking available for any rental cars, but driving is not practical for getting around ORC. Golf carts are available to rent. Call 305.367.5897 to coordinate your rental, or fill out the form at www.oceanreef.com/road-cart-rental/ ! Please reference the wedding to receive the reduced wedding rate of $59 per day.
While Ocean Reef is a family oriented community, to allow all wedding guests, including parents, a weekend of relaxation and uninhibited revelry, we respectfully ask that no children attend the events.
Most of the restaurants around the Club encourage reservations, especially for dinner, lunch not so much. Reservations for guests can only be made 24 hours in advance by calling 305-367-5931. March is typically not as busy time of year, so we don't expect waits to be too long if you can't line up a reservation in advance. Some of Our Favorites and Recommendations: · The Islander: Our favorite restaurant on the Reef and very popular with the Members; dinner only. Great fish and sushi options. You'll need to make reservations a day in advance, or you can sit at the sushi bar which is first come first serve. · Gianni's: A fantastic Italian restaurant located above the Burgee Bar in the Fishing Village with panoramic views of the marina; dinner only. Another popular spot with members so you'll want to book several weeks out. The brick oven pizzas are amazing and so are the homemade pastas. · Raw Bar: The most popular eatery at the Reef located in the Fishing Village. Open for lunch and dinner on a first come first come basis -- make sure you put your name on the white board inside. (most casual restaurant at the reef, tee-shirt and shorts) · Palm Court: Another great lunch spot located at the entrance of Buccaneer Island and the pool. This is another first come first serve place that fills up quickly so get your name on the list. · Reef Treats: For those with a late-night, or mid-day, sweet tooth head over to the Fishing Village and get some ice-cream or pastries. This is also a popular spot for breakfast and coffee in the morning while watching the fishing boats head out for the day.
